The Concept

The basic concept is easy to understand and I’m sure will be open to much debate on HOW to implement the idea, first nationally and then perhaps on a global scale!

We now utilize distance learning, class streaming, blackboard and a variety of formats to deliver instructor led classes to distant locations. The concept it to expand on this. Why can’t we have captains of industry and renowned scientists and mathematicians who are involved in industry still teach our children utilizing these methods?

Sounds simple…..so what will it take to implement a system like this?
First it’s going to take agreement by business to let the employees time be utilized in this manner. So what will be the incentive for business to let an employee spend their time teaching for a college you ask? Two words….Tax Credit!

Why not offer companies that are willing to share their employees time for this purpose, a worthwhile tax incentive or break? Isn’t the future of this planet and all the peoples on it worth this type of investment? I see this as a type of win win for all parties. The company receives tax breaks, the employee receives a second income and gets to shape young minds without having to jeopardize his financial situation, and most important is that our children are exposed to some of the finest minds available in all areas of life. The sciences, medicine, engineering….all can and will benefit from this form of interaction.

Next we will discuss how and when to institute distance learning.

Recomenzar said...: Muy interesante tu punto de vista....la idea me parece genial. por mi parte lo que yo experimenté en dos situaciones especiales donde tuve que dictar cursos desde Miami a Brasil por 40 dias, --y desde Miami a Paris--- por un semestre...a mí como educadora no me atrajo lo suficiente como para continuar haciéndolo. Por mi temoeramento y por la forma en que dicto mis clases prefiero, el contacto de mirada, energía, y entendimiento con el estudiante. Lo que sucede es que cuando una dicta un curso de español, es diferente a otro tipo de curso y se necesitan diferentes habilidades para el profesor o maestro, que cuando se dicta un curso en el mismo idioma. la idea me parece invreible, y espero que tengas respuesta de diferentes nacionalidades para ver que es para cada uno de ellos el apredimiento de algo a larga distancia

Worker said...: Thank you for your visit and your input. I am sure there will be lots of individual issues to overcome to make this viable for all people, but the idea is simple....we use resources in the best and most efficient manner....and we get the best minds in front of our youth.

Becoming Aware

As I look around me at the world, I think about the things I have learned (personal experience) and the things I have been taught (other peoples experiences) To tell the honest truth I have learned much more in my life then I have ever been taught……but somehow I have been focused more on what I’m being taught then on what I am learning. This difference is subtle yet important.

Being taught is what happens in a classroom. Like automatons kids are TAUGHT what the powers that be want them to learn. I do really mean those words. We are not awakened to the limitless possibilities of human nature…. We are told what to believe and what is “fact”. My experience has told me that facts are only facts until they are dis-proven or shown to be only a first step in understanding.

One thing I was TAUGHT is that “RELIGION” was there to bring comfort to my soul and the soul of the world. The Religious organizations were always in a self professed struggle for our souls with the "powers of darkness"….and only adhering to their word would keep me on a path of righteousness so that I and we would be “acceptable” to the heavenly father. I want you to realize the significance of the fact we are called a “flock” or a “following” and we ACCEPT that term as something endearing and born in love.

Then I looked in my own life and my friends lives and I LEARNED that natural instinct is to want our children to reach and achieve more then we ever did. So am I to conclude the following..if the church speaks for the heavenly father, does the heavenly father want me, his child, to achieve nothing more then to perfect subservience? He does not wish for me what I wish for my own children? Does that make any sense, Or are the words I am being told to believe and follow the words of some person or group that wants to control me? Who's words ARE these and why do I give them more weight then my life's experience? Do I want to just follow leaders blindly and accept what is told to me by people in power ( religious leaders and heads of governments) or supposedly in the “know”or do I want to open my eyes and use my LEARNED life experience to guide me forward?

Have you ever contemplated that there is a vested interest in retaining the status-quo? You and I are to blame for this too because it's EASIER to accept what is told to you....but what about when you get that nagging feeling in your stomach that something just isn't adding up ... doesn't maintaining the status-quo explain allot of “stuff” they tell you not to think about or worry about (Roswell incident) or science that had been learned that was “too important” for the general public to know about (read about Nikola Tesla ) until it had been fully militarized. What great scientific advances are under wraps or just plain being discredited because they are in the public domain? Why don’t they encourage in earnest new scientific endeavors until they try to fully realize how it can be used as an offensive or defensive weapon?

It’s time to remove the wool that has been intentionally pulled over our eyes all these century’s. With the advent of the internet and the decentralization of storage on the web, it is becoming impossible for the continued control of what information you are given. The lies you have been told can now be debunked, the misdirections uncovered and the conspiracies revealed. They try to counter act this by going on the offense to debunk the debunkers or call the newer scientific advances frauds, which in turn has creating a war for your mind. The key word in that last phrase is YOUR mind.

All I hope to achieve with this blog is to have a space in which we can examine different views and bits of knowledge that are out there. My intention is to post things that interest me and might interest you too. Maybe even a place for the synergy of energy to bring like minds here to meet, talk and exchange views on the material presented here.
